PermitChime adds jurisdictions where the authority publishes permit data that can be read reliably and where automated access is permitted. Tell us where you work and we will check both.

What happens to your request

We look at what the authority publishes
A permit portal is not the same thing as readable permit data. We check whether status, reviews and inspections are actually published in a form we can read reliably.
We check the terms of use
Automated access has to be permitted by that source. Where it is not, we do not support the jurisdiction — and we will tell you that rather than leave the request open.
If both hold, it goes into the queue
You get an email when it is live. We do not give a date, because whether a source can be supported is not knowable when a request comes in.
